Joe Henderson - Band Director / Music Arranger

Mr. Joe Henderson, a 1998 West Chester University graduate, is entering his fifth season with Kingsway Regional High School.  Joe Henderson attended Susquehanna Township HS in Harrisburg, PA and marched with the Westshoremen Drum & Bugle Corps from 1990 to 1992.  During his time at WCU, Joe Henderson studied trumpet performance with Dr. Laudermilch as well as studying jazz arranging and improvization with Mr. Larry McKenna.  Mr. Henderson also performed with the Golden Ram Marching Band from 1993 to 1997 and was a member of the Statesmen & Criterion Jazz Ensembles.   Before coming to Kingsway Regional, Mr. Henderson was the band director at Penns Grove HS, Pennsauken HS, and Thomas McKean HS after serving as a music arranger and staff member for various programs in the tri-state area.  Recently, Mr. Henderson has worked as a music arranger for various programs in the area and has written for many fine programs in PA, NJ, DE, MD, VA, TX, GA, SC & IL.
